What is Vestibular Rehabilitation?

Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized area of physiotherapy that is aimed at addressing impairments of the vestibular system.

The vestibular system includes parts of the inner ear and brain that are responsible for processing information involved in controlling balance and eye movements.

Research has shown that vestibular rehabilitation is effective in improving symptoms related to many vestibular disorders.

  • An evaluation of balance

About the technology we use

Infrared video goggles allow for a high definition view of your eyes to make diagnosis of vestibular disorders more accurate. These movements can be subtle and often not seen in room light.  By having a precise understnading of your vestibular issue, it allows us to implement the best treatment options and get you better faster!
