A native of Sackville, NB, Dr. Trisha Grant graduated from Mount Allison University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has always had a keen interest in natural and holistic health and wellness care, so eagerly went on to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1999. From 1999-2008, Dr. Grant established a busy and successful family Chiropractic practice in Fredericton, NB. During her years in Fredericton, she also started her family and has since enjoyed raising her two children in a wellness lifestyle. In 2008, Dr. Grant moved to Ottawa, ON. At that time she decided to work as a Chiropractic Associate, to allow more opportunity for time with her children.
Throughout her career, Dr Grant has provided chiropractic care to assist all members of the family in achieving optimal health and wellness. Dr. Grant uses a variety of evidence based treatment methods, including diversified hands-on manual adjustment techniques, several non-manual adjustment techniques, and a variety of soft tissue techniques. Incorporating these various technique approaches, as well as use of modalities (including laser, TENS, ultrasound, etc) allows her to adapt the optimal treatment approach to the unique needs of each patient, from infants to seniors and the whole family in between.
In her free time, Dr Grant enjoys keeping active and fit, with a variety of classes at a local gym, walking, cycling, cross country skiing, yoga and swimming. An avid reader, she is often found in a quiet corner or outside absorbing the peace of nature lost in a good book.
